What is a DBS check?

DBS stands for Disclosure and Barring Service and is a government agency which provides background checks for specific roles which involve working with children or vulnerable adults. As GoodGym missions and coach runs involve attending the home of an older person, sometimes alone, we are required to complete a DBS check on anyone who wishes to do these types of sessions with us.
