What do I have to bring to a mission?

We recommend you bring your phone for emergencies and to access contact information about the mission and those attending with you. We also recommend you bring some money or a means of travel in case you become injured and are unable to run/walk/cycle home.

You don't have to bring anything else. For most garden tasks, we recommend that you bring some gardening gloves if you have them, but the beneficiary should have all the other tools on site needed to complete the task.

We advise you not to bring any other tools to complete a task because we make clear these should be provided and it may be unsafe to run, walk or cycle while carrying these items.
