What is a mission?

A mission is a one-off practical task to help an older or isolated person in their home or garden, or to collect essential supplies such as food or prescriptions. Missions aim to enable older or vulnerable people to remain safe and independent at home.

We can help out with a whole range of low skill tasks as long as there are necessary tools provided and a plan for removal of any waste. We don't use power tools apart from garden mowers and strimmers. Tasks include replacing light bulbs, garden clearance or moving heavy furniture so that a patient can be discharged from hospital.
